Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long. Psalm 25:5

My Brothers and Sisters,
I had a friend who used to always say, "God has a great sense of humor." It's a peculiar statement, but it holds a lot of real truth. God has placed us in some difficult situations where we could never imagine seeing a way out, but somehow God moved in a funny way.
And now we look back on the situation wondering how we got over. God's moves rarely make sense. His plans are beyond our abilities to comprehend. The ancestors were right, "the good Lord works in mysterious ways." It's not always fun to hear, but it's a promise that we must hold on to. When you're stuck between difficulty and depression you have to be reminded that God has a miracle waiting on the other side of the mess.
Today's sermon shows us that God always has a message even when we'r living in a mess age. When the times around us are filled with chaos and confusion we can still hold on to the promises of God. You don't have to buy into the fear and the panic. When sorrow tries to grip you be reminded that God has a peculiar sense of humor. Hold on to the possibility that one day years from now you can look back on this struggle and laugh. And your laughter will reminded you of the goodness of God.
As you go into this new week, take a few mins each day to connect with God. One of the scriptures I will be meditating on is Jeremiah 29:11: For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Even in your mess, GOD HAS A PLAN FOR YOU!
God called us to create Theos Academy to help you in your personal relationship with Jesus Christ. As you reflect on the ways God has delivered you from your own personal mess, share your testimony, Click here to share your testimony. I read each message personally.
Peace,
