YOU DON’T HAVE TO TAKE IT!

 A popular saying suggests you “fake it, till you make it.”  The idea is that when things aren’t going well, you pretend they are okay until they get better again.  If you don’t have enough financial stability you pretend you do until you are more solvent.  If you are in a poor relationship you act as though it is okay, until it is.

There’s a grain of truth in that idea, but the fact is that with God you don’t have to fake it. You don’t have to pretend to be all right, when your heart is breaking or your soul is hurting.  You don’t have to try to look happy in the midst of trouble.

What you can do, is draw on the strength from His Spirit, the strength that He has placed within you and that can never be depleted.  You can tap into the Source of all that is good and even when the outward circumstances don’t seem to measure up, the inward circumstances will carry you and bring you peace.

God bless you with inner contentment that is abundantly real.
