If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our
sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1 John 1:9
Lord, it’s hard for me to conceive of how thoroughly you forgive me when I confess my sins to you. The stains on my soul are washed away, and you give me a fresh, clean start. Even though it’s hard for me to wrap my understanding around this, please help me wrap my faith around it so I can believe that you completely forgive me.
