THE HEART OF HAPPINESS

Where your pleasure is, there is your treasure;

where your treasure, there your heart;

where your heart, there your happiness.

We often witness the good things that happen to us as causing us to be “light-hearted.”  When we’re light-hearted, we’re happy and we see the world in a totally different perspective than when we’re blue.  If you think about it, it’s not the world that changes so much, it’s our thinking.

The things that bring you sustainable joy become your treasures, they become a moment in time that you long to return to over and over again.  They are the experiences that help you believe in God’s plans for the greater good in your life  Your thoughts help to generate the atmosphere of possibility, and cause you to bow your head in prayer.

Treasure the things that bring you great joy today and give God the glory for the pleasures and the treasure He has put before you.  He is faithful to you wherever you are, whatever you might think.
